Yeah I’m not arguing against that. The tradeoff is random app creators don’t owe random casters airdrops of their token. So if someone has a history of being a weak steward of airdropped tokens, it follows that protocols will want to filter them out of random airdrops if possible

FC is essentially providing a marketing / user acquisition service to these apps. A marketing service needs to prove it can find suitable consumers for its clients. It is a user acquisition calculation. The more efficiently it attracts quality users (qDAU anybody?) the better the UA proposition the marketing service can make to attract more clients.

For FC, the more apps/protocols they can attract to do airdrops, the more users FC will attract, the better the UA proposition it can make, rinse, repeat
