Madagascar Diary — Waiting for a Sunset Lemur Under the Baobab Tree
Seeing the baobab trees, which I’d only ever seen in nature documentaries, with my own eyes was absolutely breathtaking. I went out to sea with local fishermen and visited fishing villages, where children swarmed us asking for candy and chocolate. I explored forests searching for various lemurs and giant tortoises, and even witnessed the locals’ traditional honey-harvesting methods. Nature truly has the power to heal and relax.
