Long thread, but important.

Yesterday’s @monad-xyz testnet token drop from @warpcast, and the fact that I didn’t get any, really got me thinking.
At first, I was just bummed. But then I started wondering why it happened.

And you know what? I figured it out. Turns out…my account got flagged as spammy. I read the long article about it and checked my account on a couple of tools, and yep, I’m officially a spammer.

Do I deserve it? Surprisingly… yeah. And let me explain why.

It’s all because of… streaks. 
I got so caught up in them that missing even one day of posting or commenting in the community where I had a streak felt impossible.

For 280 days straight, I posted something every single day, and after they introduced the member system, I switched to commenting instead.

And honestly? Most of those comments were pretty low-effort. But it’s tough when you have to leave a comment and you’ve got zero inspiration. So I’d just take the easy way out - dropping a random emoji or whatever, just so I wouldn’t lose the streak.

I hope this is a good lesson for me, and maybe for you too. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.

So … what now?
I spent two hours going through and cleaning up as many of those cringey comments as I could. And from now on, I’m done with streaks. For real. I don’t need them. I want to post and share content when I want to, when I actually feel inspired.
