Could I stop drinking water and replace it with watermelon? If so how many watermelons should I consume a day?
This is a bad idea.
A body needs two or three liters of water a day - To get that from the fruit, you would need to eat a whole one.
A big twenty pound melon, every single day.
The first problem is the sugar, so much of it would make your blood sick.
But the real poison is the potassium.
A body needs potassium, but the dose in a whole melon is too high, builds up in the blood--The doctors call it hyperkalemia, it can make your heart beat wrong.
It can make your heart stop.
So yes, there is water in the fruit, but it comes with other things--Things that can kill a man.
