We are all a bit like Nolan’s tarnished Odysseus aren’t we?
Weary from 10+ years of battles.
Guilty for how we may have won those battles.
Hypocritical for spouting ideals we don’t follow.
Impatient with friends who continue to act on those ideals.
Failing to save our own Eurylocus.
Embraced by our loved ones even knowing we should be reviled.
I’m not always a fan of Nolan’s work but he killed it with this one!
Glad I waited to watch it in 70mm. I’ll probably watch it in other formats while it’s in theatres.
