Zama [@zama_fhe] is building open-source tools for Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), which lets data be processed while it remains encrypted.

This allows developers to create applications where sensitive information like personal or financial data is never decrypted, making privacy and security much stronger.

For example, your token balances on-chain could stay encrypted and visible only to you, while platforms like AAVE can still calculate your collateral ratio safely.

Zama has just raised $57 million in a Series B round led by Pantera Capital, valuing the company at over $1 billion. With $82.3 million raised in earlier rounds, total funding now crosses $139 million.
