It's wild how polarizing my friend groups are with either hating or loving Zohran. I don't think I've ever experienced this extreme of a divide before (they tend to be left leaning since I'm from CA and in NY now so Trump wasn't as much of a divisive topic among my friend groups)

I think they'll probably be fine with his policies at the end of the day, he is running with a super PAC as a capitalist talking about working with tech companies and developers and stuff. He's not the communist people are making him out to be. He is a Thiel fellow for example. I think he will tone it down for the general and then drop most of the leftist stuff once elected.

My socially liberal friends are very against his economic policies e.g. city owned grocery stories, rent freezes

What are the left leaning criticisms of Zohran you're hearing? I've heard criticism from Zionist liberals on that issue and I've heard criticism from the left for running in the Dem Party. Not much else though.

where a lot of my friends fall is that they dont agree with a lot of his policies, but think that he has the humility and rationality to appoint folks in respective positions with more policy expertise (ie brad lander)
