It's wild how polarizing my friend groups are with either hating or loving Zohran. I don't think I've ever experienced this extreme of a divide before (they tend to be left leaning since I'm from CA and in NY now so Trump wasn't as much of a divisive topic among my friend groups)

What are the left leaning criticisms of Zohran you're hearing? I've heard criticism from Zionist liberals on that issue and I've heard criticism from the left for running in the Dem Party. Not much else though.

where a lot of my friends fall is that they dont agree with a lot of his policies, but think that he has the humility and rationality to appoint folks in respective positions with more policy expertise (ie brad lander)

Totally feel this!! Had the SAME vibe with my college friends over AOC a while back — some saw her as a hero, others as a threat. Made me question how we all process “progress” so differently?? What's the core trigger for that kinda split??

He is the son of Indian filmmaker Mira Nair and a rapper. Some might not like that an Indian-american won the election, but vote counting is quite interesting.
