yeah we've thought about a few different approaches here, agreed on a session keys/spend permissions implementation as elegant for an end user with a wallet. We're thinking about doing this via a "usage-based" payment scheme where a user agrees to pay a maximum of $X. The primary use case to start is for LLM inference, which has an arbitrary number of output tokens therefore price, but I think it could apply to this too

lol yeah you could I like that. Check browser type, charge dynamically based out output If you don’t build this I might steal it

I like the additional context since it’s scary to have a prediction market resolve based on one. But exa and tavily were the best of the ones I tried, didn’t use Gemini tho

You could totally do it with just creating a market that resolves based on “has X event happened” with a resolution date in the future

Introducing ✨Dream Markets✨ Create permissionless prediction markets that use a web search AI agent, powered by x402 and AgentKit, to resolve anything you can dream of This is my hackathon project for Permissionless, built with the Vandy Blockchain team (we won a prize!)

User hits backend with request Backend says 402 payment required, send me X USDC User constructs signature, signs it, then sends it back Facilitator, the middleware piece, picks it up and runs the verify/settle Once the transaction settles, facilitator lets the backend know and backend responds to user x402 meant for more than base and USDC so ofac check is future proof If you’re an AI dev you don’t want to touch anything related to checking onchain data that you don’t have to

It verifies the payment isn’t coming from a sanctioned address then settles it onchain and pays the tx fee The idea is to mitigate an API seller’s need to know or integrate anything related to crypto

Introducing flappy x402: pay-per-play using x402 🐦 A lot of our use cases have been focusing on agents, but x402 is meant to be the standard for payments *across the internet*, humans included It's the easiest way to monetize vibe-coded apps and games. Miniapp version next? Browser wallet template: https://github.com/murrlincoln/x402-browser-wallet-demo Flappy x402: https://github.com/murrlincoln/flappy-x402

x402 is now integrated within AgentKit! Your agents can call to whatever services or endpoints they want to provision data for trading decisions, pay for goods or services on your behalf, or store and retrieve files across the internet 2 lines of code 🤯

Off the top of my head the value prop in x402 in this case is twofold: 1. abstracting some of the crypto complexity away (not super necessary with this audience) 2. Building it http-native means you can create additional interaction paradigms (MCP, outside of miniapp) with no duplicative work

what's the easiest way to spin up/test miniapps? do I really have to host a production-ready server or is there some sort of workaround?

miniapp idea: let users create veo 3 videos and charge them via x402, with one-click share to socials
