Robinhood will acquire WonderFi for C$250m (approximately $183m) in cash, gaining access to its regulated crypto platforms Bitbuy and Coinsquare with over C$2.1bn (around $1.54bn) in assets under custody. The deal, expected to close in H2 2025, includes a 41% premium for shareholders and will integrate WonderFi’s team into Robinhood Crypto’s Canadian operations.
