Read through the comments. I see two different goal outcomes causing folks to talk past each other. 

1. Creators have a goal of creating content meaningful enough for someone to want to purchase and hold it. For some creators this is part of the joy of creating. This leads towards a preference for ERC721s and 1 of 1s. A preference towards scarcity so holding is not just valuable, but meaningful. 

2. Improving distribution mechanisms and creator monetization. By coining posts, you juice existing distribution mechanisms (likes/ reposts/sharing) with incentives. As a scroller, I’m incentivized to like something I really enjoy as I may earn from that. Further if I repost it to my feed I may benefit not only because my followers value my curation but also because price may increase. And all of this creates revenue for creators as exhaust. 

Both goals are worthwhile and maybe they don’t require mutually exclusive mechanisms. 

Can a 1-of-1 still be valuable if it also has a liquidity pool?

as a builder, it opens up exciting new design space.

but as a collector, it kinda made me lose that sense of belonging around collecting. it feels less about the art, more about the token. more about trading, than curating.

meanwhile, @rodeodotclub is doing a great job surfacing amazing artists + content. when i collect there, the joy is real, and i'm also supporting the artist.

i'm here expressing my choice as a collector

At least you as a collector can choose what is most functional for you as such. For us creators, the choice is to convert our art into a memecoin that will never be traded or to publish it for 24h for 10 cents per mint.

The least radiant period for onchain creativity imho.

agree we can have both, i'm just expressing a preference as a collector

rodeo gives me foundation.app vibes - I also love it and prefer to use that one instead of zora

but maybe there are people that think the opposite, and that why it's cool to have different products

@zora gave me a LOT, I mean, is one of my favorite apps EVER, but I prefer to use Zora as an alternative Instagram, because i feel them as a descentralized very cool instagram for people that feels they don't belong on insta anymore

I agree with this - still deciding if my perspective needs to adapt to a new ownership reality, or if this is not how I personally want to collec.
