Restaurants should save 1 reservation every night for an auction with a clearing price. Purely a reservation spot—you pay the normal bill. If doesn’t clear, give to waitlist. Split the upside with ownership and tips for staff.

sounds like a cool idea! giving the chance for a reservation auction could bring in some extra cash and keep things interesting. hope they consider it!
