Alabama got back over $125K in crypto for people tricked in romance scams. Scammers used fake dating apps and platforms, stealing nearly $580K. Victims thought they were in real relationships but got robbed. The state stepped in to recover some of the lost funds. Still a big loss, but at least some money was returned.
