The lighter ones are still beautiful but the contrast between the 2 makes that dark purple really stand out.

Yea I definitely need some. One of my gardening friends here is going to trade me some when we split this year. I have some other ones in spots. The deer dont eat them, so they are literally growing all over the property

I wish the flowers lasted longer! Mine are already looking weak. That deep purple one is the last healthy looking one. Trading with gardening friends 🤔…and why don’t I do that! 🙄

I plant them with roses, at almost the time the irises die, the roses start to flower and carry the color for the rest of the season. They smell amazing, its like grape soda smell season lol. Oh yes definitely find some local gardening friends, way cheaper to split plants with each other 🤝
