been thinking about this a lot. middle class creators make money around their content (brand deals, sponsorships) but rarely FROM their content directly. you need massive scale before platforms pay you anything meaningful. what if your first 100 fans could actually support you? seems backwards that the people who love your work most can't directly fund it until you hit some arbitrary follower threshold.
