📍 Kamyanets-Podilskyi is an amazing, colorful city
I’ve been here several times — and every time I leave, I think: “I’ll definitely come back.”
It’s a small, cozy, and very old city — one you just can’t help falling in love with.
I love strolling through its old streets — many are still paved with cobblestones.
And the canyon! The views are simply breathtaking.
And of course, the Kamianets-Podilskyi Fortress.
Powerful. Majestic. Like something out of a medieval legend. It towers above the city with such grace and strength — it takes your breath away every time.
A true symbol of pride, history, and timeless beauty.
Before the war, they used to launch hot air balloon flights over the canyon. Sadly, I never got the chance to fly. But I still dream of it.
But the place that pulls at my heart the most is the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.
I love just sitting in its quiet courtyard. There’s a deep, sacred energy there. I can’t describe it — you have to feel it with your heart.
The cathedral itself holds centuries of layered history.
During the Ottoman rule in the 17th century, it was converted into a mosque — and the minaret they added still stands today.
Even after the city returned to Christian rule, the minaret was preserved, and a statue of the Virgin Mary was placed on top.
That mix of cultures, faiths, and time — it’s something you can feel in the air.
