Lately I’ve been having these conversations around characteristics or ideas related to products and human behavior and adoption. And through these conversations, I’m realizing pretty much where my superpower lay. You see, I was born in a world where the only thing that mattered was physical human behavior the words that were spoken the ideas that were translated the things that were to be done all happened through physical body movement sign language, and as a hearing person having to interact in that medium predominantly, you, you develope a very weird mapping of interpreting those physical behaviors into words like spoken words or heard words. As in the hearing world, you just always map words to other words you hear word you hear a word and you make a mapping on that medium. In the deaf world, you see a word you try to create a word whether it be mental or something that you look up to try to define that word. So I’ve taken for granted that as I see the world, I have had to create entirely different mappings to the language that has been predominantly decided to be the written, spoken, heard language of things. And now that intelligence or the next word is cheap cheaper, although never more expensive in this new medium of intelligence, the world makes so much more sense to me, ironically in a completely novel and net new space that is AI having to create mapping to human behavior. This was dictated so I’m sure it’s borked in some places. TBC.
