How much of your daily family activities is random vs. fixed? I'm finding that certainty reduces decision fatigue and helps kids get into positive habits. Every night I read with my daughter. Even if she plays around after a couple of minutes, I noticed that day by day her focus is getting better and she's enjoying the quality time. We allow for randomness every now and again, where we let the kids choose what to do, but within limits. Curious to hear how other parents do.
