Seems like shilling coins is totally normal right now..

A few months ago people would get shadow banned for this

Well .. it was the era of post  only interesting content then so what do i know... at the end of the day, this is a social fi app, so it is actually odd if no one is talking about tokens (at least not just outright scamming or captive extraction of fc casters)

What annoys me is that when I first joined, it was a bit similar, but without Clanker. And I'd promote a project/token that had some reputation, just to end shadow banned. Yet now everyone is shilling non-stop, and it's like, oh it's actually ok to do so.

But hey.. now I can safely shill because everyone does it.

It seems like clanker was the shift that started base meme trading and  I think the Devs likely is wagering that  would draw participation to FC, whether it will last is anyone's guess
