The UK is a joke of a country at this point. Imagine colonizing all those nations and stealing all their stuff, to have only London as anything worth respect while every other region sinks deeper into poverty.

Well, north England was just colonised first, followed by wales, Scotland, Ireland, etc It’s always been about London People in Liverpool have a saying “I’m Scouse (from Liverpool), not English/British”

Also not sure you should use colonised in the context you did… For the Welsh and Scots the identity of being a colonised people yet coloniser means it is a much more complicated matter. There is some duality. I wouldn’t include the English at all in that definition ever.

My post was more about how the British empire colonised India, Australia etc, pillaged wealth and is yet in this dire situation, which is frankly embarrassing. Also notice that nowhere in Scotland is on the list (very different governance). Having been born and raised in London I’m really glad to be out of England.
