“In the event of war with Hezbollah, the document envisages a potential three-day power outage in some cities; breakdowns in water supply that could last days; a disconnection of landlines for up to eight hours and cellphone communications for up to 24 hours; and brief local disruptions to radio and internet. Some 40% of the nation’s workforce may be unable to work for the duration of the conflict, and service providers from outside affected areas may become unavailable throughout, according to the document.” Scary times ahead for the people of Israel, Lebanon, Iran and potentially other countries as well. This may be the big war that changes the borders of the Middle East as created at the end of the colonial period. I do fear tactical nuclear weapons use by Israel and detonation of a nuclear bomb at some stage by Iran are possible worst case outcomes and I’m not alone in that. https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-document-shared-with-northern-mayors-sets-out-hezbollah-war-scenarios/

Indeed, scary times ahead. I, however, think nuclear warfare would be the worse case scenario. But then again, there has been pent us anger between them, so anything can happen. Thank you for keeping us abreast Murtaza, i'm glued to your page for these updates.
