Need some advice here. Thinking about getting a used car. Needs to be 4x4 and have a place to sleep. Thinking about F150s, GMC Sierras, 4Runners, Landcruisers, Quigley Conversions, and Toyota HiAces. 

I know Tacoma is the gold standard, but it’s bed is too small to sleep comfortably. 

Any thoughts?

Tacoma extended cab and bed work well as a surf-mobile. My neighbor had one he slept in with a topper, boards slid under the bed platform.

Love this. Aren’t the Tacoma beds only 6 ft though?

I think so yeah, but my buddy who has one is like 6'2" and sleeps fine (diagonal I think)
