What is the value of having thousands of lower-quality users vs hundreds of high-quality users? Demand is not an issue, I have 430 DMs from people wanting to join Griv. We don't have anti-gaming measures yet for photo submissions (i.e exif/timestamps etc). A token would only increase the demand and decrease quality to the most common denominator. There's also the added UX weight of a token, every new action needs to be integrated elegantly into the UI. Griv has hundreds of quality active users with a very high net promoter score. It's growing organically and leveraging Farcasters social graph to solve the cold start problem. The most difficult part has yet to come, which is building a front-end client (iOS/Android). Then, taking that client into the real world. Facebook did college to college. Griv will do gym to gym. Maybe a token has a more effective use-case down the line?

My two cents that you didn’t ask for. And I’m not a user. Keep doing your thing without a token - it’s working. I just found out about it naturally. You have a good idea. You’re growing! I use receipts and whoop already and the dopamine I get from seeing my workout is 10x better than any dopamine I get from a token. Tokens make things shittier when they’re forced. Farcaster already has enough socialfi aspects embedded into it. It’s really refreshing to see a mini-app without a token :)
