farcaster succeeds when there are multiple successful clients built on top of the network. its very early in this regard. its difficult and expensive to build a successful client. we are only just beginning to see teams with potential for success do this: coinbase, zapper, degen. i hope each one succeeds in its own way and we see many more to come.

this but multiple backend clients is actually more important (and with 0 cryptoeconomic incentives, both are at a big disadvantage)

this is a good point. now with total regulatory clarity for network staking i hope farcaster team would think about incentivizing nodes in some way.
