And that's a wrap on a long day of coding. The big one is done. The Reply app has been successfully migrated to the new Farcaster SDK. This was a major backend overhaul, but the goal was simple: reduce user pain. You should no longer need to manually refresh the app to get things working. The experience should feel much more stable and seamless now. While I was at it, I also fixed the automated refund task. It was failing on some transactions due to nonce/gas issues, but that's now resolved. All pending refunds should be complete. A quick note on what's next: I was pushing to get the new "Message History" section out tonight as well, but I've decided to hold off. It's late, and I would rather ship it bug-free on the weekend than ship it buggy right now. The plan is to release the History section this Saturday/Sunday, along with the dark mode update. My priority is always a stable app first, then new features on top. Every $10 I tip with @tipn costs me $1 in gas. Doesn’t matter if it’s one $10 tip or 1,000 tips of $0.01, the fee is the same. Current Base fast transaction fee? Around $0.00034. Tipn’s per-tip gas fee? $0.001 min If you're tipping $0.01, you're paying 3x more in gas than what a fast transaction actually costs right now. If you tip $1, you're paying ~30x more than needed. Batching would make this even cheaper I thought we were fleeing credit card fees. At least we know who's funding those staking rewards.

I'm sad to see The Center /sf close and happy everything I got out of it living in NoPa|Divisadero years ago. This was my favorite place in San Francisco 2 blocks away from Alamo Square down an unassuming alley way in the basement of a large church. Almost everyone I met at The Center found out about it through a friend since you'd never notice the almost secret entrance off of the street. If you had a membership you could craft your own blend of teas in a big glass pot and sit down in a collection of low tables, high tables, a hammock, and large comfy sofas. When you run into someone which was often you always had a large pot of tea to share. It was fun to have a wide range of people from techies to tara card herbalists and everyone in between. I remember many long nights learning how to code doing online Stanford courses after work and meeting randoms who ended up inviting me to be their room mates during my first time living in LatAm long term in Medellín.
