I find PayPal re entering Nigeria after exiting 20 years ago laughable.
They exited because the market was “too hard.” That exit became a catalyst.
It sparked an entire wave of indigenous Nigerian fintech companies, alongside Chinese backed payment and infrastructure players. And now they want to re enter?
Not to mention crypto.
They created their own competition.
