My hot take before going back to code:
It’s too early to lock Farcaster into a niche.
That generally comes later and could limit network effects.
The reality is dogs are universally loved across people.
especially when the dog’s content reflects the community itself.
versatility: the people like matcha, the dog drinks matcha. The people travel, so does the dog. The people trade coins, so does the dog. This creates a bridge across diverse interests and emotional connections. Also they are generally uncontroversial.
Scientifically speaking, dogs evoke strong human emotion they’re literally man’s best friend. Even in crypto, dogs are a cultural phenomenon. Just look at the mainstream success of Doge and Shiba. AWA is down, they show pics of dogs.
Ironically, my most engaging post on TikTok was of my dog doing a trick lol
And since crypto itself is still early and pushing toward mainstream adoption, content that resonates broadly while still feeling personal is exactly what helps grow the ecosystem.
