Check out how many people are typing in questions into Google these days. They say roughly 8% of Google searches are question-based. With the rise of AI Overviews, Google is becoming more helpful in answering questions. Plus, with zero-click searches and Google showcasing other related queries, people are clicking on things like “people also asked,” which keeps them searching more. Nonetheless, question-based searches are on the rise. Keep in mind that the data is only from 1002 people, which may seem like a large sample size, but over 13 billion searches take place on Google daily. ;) So, think of this data as more of a directional indicator rather than analyzing the percentage increase.
