does the algo now use locations to determine the typa posts i see on my homepage?

My entire fyp is full of people’s casts that I don’t know, it’s very scattered

i’ve never ever seen most of them before
but they show  up anyway(and clearly the same location or sumn)

So you choose people you engage so you see yourself on theirs

probably, frequency of nigerian posts i see now is skyrocketing

cus my homepage is completely different 
and all the posts i see now are clearly from the same country. only ones different are those i’m following

I think the new algo now brings up casts liked by the people you follow and interact with
