Just read through Stand.earth’s 2025 Fossil Free Fashion Scorecard  and the results say a lot about where the industry really stands on climate action.

Even the top performer, H&M Group, only scored a B+, showing how far the sector still has to go.

2025 Fossil Free Fashion Scorecard: As the rampant production of fossil-fueled clothing continues to rise, contributing at least 4% of global emissions, the fashion industry must urgently correct course by ending its dependency on fossil fuels for manufacturing, transportation, and raw materials.
