❗️🇪🇺 Donald Trump recommends imposing 50% tariffs on the EU starting June 1 (Truth Social)

The EU, which was created largely to take advantage of the United States in trade, has been very difficult to deal with.

Their powerful trade barriers, value-added taxes, ridiculous corporate fines, currency manipulation, unfair and unjustified lawsuits against American companies, and much more have led to a trade deficit with the U.S. of over $250,000,000 a year, which is totally unacceptable.

Our discussions with European delegates are going nowhere! Therefore, I recommend a 50% tariff on the EU starting June 1, 2025. The tariff will not apply if the product is made in the USA.
