This is a good reply and I want to call it out I believe it is safe to assume If you have engaged with any sort of consumer genetic testing — including DTC bloodwork Your information and death date is probably in some actuarial table now and you will be judged against that for the rest of your life

The extent of it was not obvious to me and I had a genetic counselor look me in the eye and say “don’t do this if you want life insurance” I didn’t realize how far the data spreads, how they dubiously extrapolate, all the $$$ involved, and how it can even apply to things like key man insurance These things are even less obvious when you do something like a Function Health
