If you have engaged with any sort of consumer genetic testing — including DTC bloodwork

Your information and death date is probably in some actuarial table now and you will be judged against that for the rest of your life

I genuinely think if I was a billionaire I would make my own private lab for friends and family 
It would be a great thing to offer in a network state

The extent of it was not obvious to me and I had a genetic counselor look me in the eye and say “don’t do this if you want life insurance” 

I didn’t realize how far the data spreads, how they dubiously extrapolate, all the $$$ involved, and how it can even apply to things like key man insurance 

These things are even less obvious when you do something like a Function Health
