The highly anticipated Avalon is an up and coming disruptor in the web3 gaming space - a multi-genre MMO universe developed using Unreal Engine 5, powered by AI, and driven by user creation. Here's an overview 👇 The Team Comprising a stacked group of highly-experienced MMO devs with track records from the most reputable AAA titles in gaming history, including EverQuest, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Assassins Creed, Call of Duty, and more. Investors • $13m led by BitKraft in Feb 2023 • $10m co-led by Bitkraft (again), and Hashed The core loop consists of a mix of exploring, resource-gathering, questing, combat, and socialising - offering a variety of playstyles including Solo, Group, PvP, PvE, and creating with tools. Players start on the 'Fantasy Realm' at the bottom of 'The Spire'. The Game has yet to be released to the public, however, the team have already dropped some teasers and snippets of in-game footage, and is currently in its private access phase.
