how i actually got good at product design (and fast): - rebuilt onboarding flows from things like notion, linear, arc - watched old growth[dot]design teardowns on loop - designed fake app, for example: a budgeting app just to figure out edge cases like “what if the user adds zero income?” - read angry app store reviews to find real UX issues people faced - screenshotted every product that made me go “wait…that was smooth” - made my own library of “flows that just make sense” - learned what good microcopy feels like by rewriting shitty ones i found in the wild - used testflight builds to see how startups evolve features week by week - worked with dev friends and kept asking them stuff, helps you start thinking like an engineer too never touched a design course. just paid attention to the real stuff.
