Sometimes, I wonder what really counts when we receive a gift. Is it the thought that counts or the actual gift itself. If I am aware the current financial situation of my friend isn’t good, a simple happy birthday note would absolutely make my day. But people don’t even try.

In Nigeria We are raised to believe it's the actual gift which is the worth and it's not supposed to be like that It's supposed to be the thought that counts.
