one of the biggest takeaways i have from yapster is similar to a big takeaway i had from polymarket. if the app and the consumer experience is compelling, no one cares what chain its on. spend more time building great consumer apps and less time fighting culture chain wars.

As someone quietly building a client, I will say this: Warpcast isn't the only game in town. There will always room for improvement. Protocol security is more important, anyways. Worst case is someone forks snapchain, and the wheel of time spins anew.

Parenting tip for siblings that like to fight over things (like who gets the window seat, or the extra cookie, or who gets to pick the movie, or the show, or the playlist, or who gets to go first in the game you're playing, or... if you have multiple kids you know this list could go on forever) try this: rip up a piece of paper into however many pieces as kids there are and write numbers on them (3 kids, there will be 3 pieces of paper labeled 1, 2 and 3). Crumple the papers. Shake them in your hand. Throw them in the air. Kids scramble and choose their paper. #1 gets first choice, #2 second, etc You aren't playing favorites. It's not biased towards the oldest, cutest or strongest kid. It's fun.

Cursor is winning my heart already. This horizontal layout of the primary side-bar-view tabs shows discerning taste over the core VSCode teams vertical space-waster. (and I haven't even got on to the main value proposition: <LLM> stuff) The forking of an OSS UI project this large (both technically, and in terms of serious install base globally) is spectacular, and fascinating to witness.
