got a land tour of the future walkable town of Esmeralda and learned of the infinite details that go into planning a village. much of it is inspired by the founder Devon's childhood summers in Chautauqua, NY and recently built communities like Las Catalinas, Serenbe, and Seabrook (now on my list to research / visit).

Esmeralda the actual town is 15 min north of Healdsburg, where the Edge Esmeralda pop-up is happening right now. just got here this morning and having a lovely time, nice break from the june gloom in LA (and the riots).
