Fwiw I gravitate most towards mid-length texts that can offer longer form casts, and then I do enjoy the photos, but typically scroll past the videos, unless I find the content they’re speaking about engaging, but typically weary of video / audio.
I think writing requires a bit more 1, 2, 3 - not that video isn’t fun, but as someone who is high key adhd, I am learning how to tell dopamine hits as ones that make my body / CNS feel icky vs the ones that raise my vibrations (lol, but fr fr).
And right now we need a bit more 1, 2, 3 and less convenience and cheap thrills
Aesthetic is important as is expression - visual medium is important absolutely. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t say this. However, discourse is my cup of tea
My least favorite casts are the betting ones tbh. Whether it’s on a token (?) or on sports, it serves a purpose that I find to be icky.
