The fewer decorations a temple has, the simpler it is - the greater the awe and respect it inspires. This is the Church of St. John, built in 1972. It is the newest and best-preserved building in Bar’s Old Town, where the earliest structures date back to the 13th century. However it is assumed that it had existed even in the 6th century in the form of the rehabilitated Roman 'castrum' 📍StaroBarska Čarsija, Stari Bar, Montenegro

An interesting fact about the temple decorations. I was in Bar a long time ago, but then I was not interested in various tourist finds, I was only interested in the sea and the sun, although I did not really like the beach in this city. Do you live in this city or are you traveling?
