Probably my favorite spot in Kyoto is this wild coastline just a minute away from the central, noisy streets. Because of the natural banks, the organized channel with its slow current, and the lack of lighting, the wildlife is so comfortable here that we even saw a heron 🤯 It seemed to be fishing until I accidentally scared it off with my flash

If I've ever seen herons outside of zoos, it was only in villages. I never expected to suddenly encounter one in the city. And in Korea, did you see them in a relatively large city too?

Yes literally in the center of the city, i saw many and i even seen one catching a fish!😍 Seoul is an incredible city, go visit one day if you can.. nothing compared to how wild and crowded tokyo is.. very advanced city and many great things to see
