In the U.S., an airdrop is considered taxable income based on its value as soon as you click the claim button.  

Example 👉 If I claim $1000 and sell, then I pay income tax on $1000. If I claim and the token goes to 0, then I still pay taxes on $1000. 

IMO, this needs to change so we’re taxed on the sell value, but it is what it is right now.
