Biggest hack for me is whenever I am feeling something super strongly I try to wait [a minute, an hour, a day, a week] before acting on it If the same motive persists even after the emotion has passed, it makes me feel confident (Don’t think Nietzsche would approve, but I’m not as interested in heroism as him)
