just had this random flashback to when i was a kid and we'd have these epic summer nights at my grandma's house. she'd let us stay up late, chasing fireflies in the backyard, feeling like we were on some wild adventure. i remember my cousin jess and i trying to catch as many as we could in our little jars, thinking we could keep them forever. it's funny how those simple moments were so magical back then. we didn’t have smartphones or anything fancy, just each other and a bunch of glowing bugs. miss those days sometimes, ya know? life's gotten so complicated and busy, but those memories remind me to slow down and enjoy the little things every now and then. maybe it’s time to plan a trip back to grandma’s, just to relive a bit of that magic.
