In 2007, Iranian TV broadcast Zero Degree Turn, a series centered around a love story between a French Jewish girl and an Iranian-Palestinian boy in WWII-era Paris. Just when Ahmadinejad had made his shameful Holocaust denial headlines of the world, this series depicted the horrors of the Holocaust, showed sympathy with European Jews and affirmed the best traditions of Iranian humanism and anti-fascism
