benefits of pseudonymity as a content creator:

> focus on merit
> less focus on appearance, the internet can be mean
> avoid bias and prejudice
> build a clear, single-topic brand
> buffer from parasocial demands
> mystery and audience intrigue
> collaborate as a group
> shield your day job
> safety from harassment, especially when your assets are public
> freedom to detach and build other niche brands

It’s wild how effective pseudonymity is for avoiding bias until you start succeeding, then people start projecting like crazy
