At some point the NCAA needs to drop the “student first, athlete second” charade. Billions of dollars, NIL, transfer portal (free agency), traveling cross-country for midweek games… Education is not the main focus. Admit it and call it what it is. A business. Run it as such.

I feel we have completely lost sight of what college athletics was intended for. It was meant to foster a well-rounded student, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills — all while complementing academic education to develop balanced individuals.
