Texas Governor Greg Abbott just signed the Bitcoin reserve bill SB 21 into law. Now Texas is the third state to hold Bitcoin reserves. The bill got bipartisan support and creates a state-managed fund. It only invests in cryptos with a $500B+ average market cap over 12 months. A Bitcoin advisory committee will guide the fund. Holdings must be reported every two years.
