gen Z alcohol sales being 80% down and being obsessed with the gym, looksmaxxing, and healthy eating is really just a sign that gen Z has no hope to gain anything except in vanity of self. That’s to say that if everything else in their life fails, becoming a more attractive person *might* get them the life they want, that someone *might* come to save them if they are attractive enough. It’s really a defense mechanism against the economy they were born into. If there wasn’t a job shortage and people could afford homes, gen Z’s behaviors in relation to health and fitness would look a lot different than it does right now.
