My New Year's gift for myself was finishing this cupboard 🥳💗🎉 It's now this beautiful auburn colour, I love how it fits the original panels. And I left the inside light coloured, with only a layer of clear finish. In the meantime I learned that the wood burning on the panels was created by hand by someone in the family at the turn of the century! A mom and her daughter actually. How cool is that for a hobby, wood burning beautiful timeless designs on furniture?? This project has been the most challenging for me so far, but also so fulfilling 💓 Seeing the finished result was just glorious!
