My comfort food is pea soup with bacon and chives 🤤 

The easiest and probably cheapest soup if you can spare ~2 hours to let the dried peas boil into mush.

Fry up a large chopped onion + shredded carrot, mix them in with peas, season, and that's it 👌

Usually this soup is cooked with some smoked meat for even more flavour, but I wanted to make it vegetarian this time, so bacon was a topping 😊
