some of the biggest lessons i've learned as a builder in crypto over the years: 1. never take anything for face value 2. if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is 3. if you're not first, you're last 4. always have multiple back-up plans in case your primary doesn't pan out (it likely won't) 5. markets are ultimate arbiters of present truth: when in doubt, check token price 6. but markets are terrible at forecasting future potential 7. so rely on fundamentals over hype: the former is a leading indicator, the latter is a lagging one
